Work
Broadly-speaking, I’m interested in working on complex systems where small changes can induce an outsized amount of impact horizontally.
Usually, this translates to topics like distributed systems, networking, security, compilers, and human factors.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I spend my time on:
- Music: mostly in the classical, jazz, and french house genre.
- Reading: some recent favorites are Thinking in Systems: A Primer, The Singapore Story: Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew, and https://apenwarr.ca/log/20201227.
- Language: I’m currently learning Mandarin!
- Games: Celeste, Mega Man Battle Network, Story of Seasons.
- Working out, and spending time with friends and family as one should :)
